“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”
                                            –Helen Keller

This famous phrase from American author Helen Keller sums up the ideals of Robinsons ACTS (Act. Care. Teach &Serve), the Corporate Social Responsibility program of the Robinsons Townville malls.

Founded last April 2016, Robinsons ACTS encouraged customers and Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. employees to volunteer to various outreach programs. Anchored on the spirit of volunteerism, Robinsons ACTS believes that the best gift one can offer is not measured by the wealth one has but by the time he can give for service, that to say, is truly priceless.

Open to all without discrimination on gender, social class, age or status, Robinsons ACTS has a wide array of volunteers who came from all walks of life. There were professionals, nurses, teachers, students, catechists, dancers, artists, former military personnel and even differently-abled persons who registered as volunteers for the program. They were living proofs that when it comes to service, all are created equal.

Being a family-oriented chain of malls, Robinsons Townville chose children ages 3-12 years old as beneficiaries of the program. The program holds quarterly outreach programs which focus on the values formation of the beneficiaries. These values are being taught by means of child-friendly activities that include art workshops, storytelling, singing, dancing, writing and fun games which best exemplify that children best learn through play. The program aims to develop in the children life skills and values that will help them as they grow and become mature responsible adults.

Since Robinsons ACTS values the efforts being exerted by the volunteers, the program conducts an annual volunteer appreciation activity wherein volunteers enjoy team building activities, brainstorming sessions and the awarding of ‘Volunteers of the Year’.
